This is a special earphone and therefore it makes it to the first of the List. The main highlights of these earbuds are their ANC and style. It looks absolutely gorgeous despite smaller in shape.

Build quality

Not only the appearance is great, but the build is good too. The shut lines are clear. There is no wobble on the lid. The earbuds feel chunky. It is made of both matte parts and glossy parts. The build is really good for the price.

Sound quality

The sound is very good for the price. The soundstage is decently wide and the dynamics are nice too. The earbuds have a 13 mm driver and that sure produces some bass. The sound is pleasant and smooth. The treble is rolled off a bit and that does take away some life in the music but it makes sure you don’t get listening fatigue

The bass is good. It is agile and punchy. As mentioned earlier, Ptron zenbuds ultima uses a 13 mm driver and it makes sure you get good bass. There is no over hang in the bass or any bloat. It is very good for the price.

Mids

The mids are smooth too. The vocals are recessed and it is pushed rear of the mix sometimes. The voice also has decent air but overall, the earbuds are warm sounding in mid region. WIth ANC in place, you’re in for a good Mids.

Highs

This is where things get interesting. Although the treble is rolled off, it produces above 15k very much. But, when you play a song, it is evident that the treble is a bit rolled off. I wish it was neutral, as the less treble takes some life off the music.

Battery life

The battery life is decent, I would say. But with this powerful ANC and good sound, 50 hours of playback time is good, in my opinion. You can use it for two days easily. I had no troubles with battery life.

Boult Audio makes some of the best earphones in India. Not just earphones, boult audio makes the best TWS earbuds under 1500 in India. This Boult audio Airbass in particular is an excellent TWS earphone. This earphone used to be priced at Rs 2500. But now, the price has fallen.

I use this personally. Hence, I can wholeheartedly recommend it to you, my readers.

Build quality

The build quality of this Boult Audio Omega is great. It is offered in different colours but white is a work of art. The curves and edges are very attractive. The only place I feel the build is weak is the lid. But, it is still great and doesn’t flex.

The lid has no wobbles and opens and closes nicely. The lid shuts with assurance. The earbuds too are made well. I can vouch for its plastic quality. Although it is lightweight, it is still made well.

The ear tips are soft and very comfortable to use. It also cuts down noise well. Additional ear tips are also given so that you can choose the right one for you.

Overall, the build quality is very good and solid. There are status LEDs on the front face of the case. It shows the battery percentage while charging.

You will get Boult Audio in two colours. White and black.

Sound Quality

The sound quality is one reason you should buy these TWS earphones. It has great sound quality. The soundstage is very wide and goes out of the ears with great width. 

The instruments are nicely arranged. The centre image is sharp. However, its images are inside the head. The dynamics are good too. The sound quality is great. You get to hear subtle nuisances of music with it.

Bass

The bass is tight and punchy. If you want more bass, you can activate bass boost mode. It increases bass by a good margin. Bass-heavy music tends to distort a bit in this mode. Otherwise, no complaints. Even with Bass boost deactivated, you will get rich bass. It goes even deep too.

I checked and it easily hits 30 Hz. It can hit 20 Hz too. The mid-bass punch is satisfactory.

Mids

The Mids are very clean and have great sound quality. You will get good instrument separation and has a nice smooth sound. The bass doesn’t intrude into the mids. The sound quality is such that you can enjoy the music and experience a great scale of music. 

The male vocals sound great and the female vocals are sweet. You will love acoustic music and voice-centric stuff like podcasts through these earbuds.

Treble

The Treble is silky smooth. There are no sharp sounds I heard. It is smooth and tangible. With Rock mode on, treble goes to a high level. Personally, I didn’t like it much but Rock and Metal fans might like it. 

The treble adds air to the music and the earphones clearly do this. In normal HIFI mode, the treble is such that it is not harsh and thus you will not get any listening fatigue. You can listen to music for a long time and will not get listening fatigue because of treble.

Features

This Boult Audio Airbass Omega is loaded with features. It includes ANC, ENC, Equalisers etc. Let’s first see about ANC.

ANC

ANC stands for, ‘Active Noise Cancellation.’ It means the earphone reduces noise electronically. The system can reduce the noise by as much as 30 dB which is good. It captures the outside noise using its mics, amplifies it and sends it into the earpiece out of phase. 

The leaked noise that entered the eardrum cancels with the opposite phased sound from the earbuds. Hence, the noise will be reduced. It is definitely a nice feature to have.

Build quality

The build is very good for the price. It also looks beautiful. I got the blue colour, and I am impressed with the looks. The lid is firm and doesn’t wobble. The style is different, and it is reflected in every place of the earbuds. The lid opens differently, and the overall build felt premium. The led looks high quality too.

sound quality

Boult audio airbass Z40 has the decent sound quality for the price. It is one of the finest in the price range. They are warm-sounding earbuds and have good bass. The Sound signature is bass heavy.

bass

The bass is strong and has a good organic feel. The earbuds don’t have holes to neutralise the sound pressure in the inner ear. So you might experience a suction feeling with these earbuds. Otherwise, I don’t have a compliant against the bass. The deep bass is great. It is one of the best earbuds in terms of bass.

The mids are decent but have bass colouration. The resolution is poor and has not-so-good mids. The bass does intrude into the mids, and the body of the mids gets accentuated. If you’re buying this earbud for audiobooks and podcasts, I will look elsewhere because these earbuds aren’t mid-centric.

The treble is rolled off. It has an extension but is typically rolled off. It will not have harsh treble or even good sparkle. The plus point is that you can listen to these earphones for a long period of time without any ear fatigue.

Boat airdopes 190

Boat audio airdopes 190 is perhaps one of the oldest truly wireless earbuds here. Still, it is one of the best earbuds under Rs 1500. What I have got are a white case and earbuds, and it is a looker.

However, this comes with a caveat—the price. It is often priced above Rs 1500. But, occasionally, it comes below Rs 1500. Hence, I am including it to the list.

Build quality

The build of boAt airdopes 190 is very good and felt premium. The Lid is solid and not wobbly. The case and earbuds are well made. Airdopes 190 is light in weight The whole case and earbuds weigh just 44 grams. Each earbud is 3.5 grams.I have no complaints about its build quality. The only gripe is, wish it has active noise cancellation or ANC.

sound quality

The sound quality of these true wireless earphones is good. So are the soundstage and imaging. The soundstage is decently wide. The main purpose of these earbuds is their gaming. And the wide soundstage and accurate imaging augment it a lot. You can pinpoint and shoot. The audio quality is good for the price.

Bass

The bass is good. Thanks to the 10 mm driver, the bass is punchy. The midbass is punchy too. One gripe is that the bass is not so tight. For genres like soft rock or classical, it is totally fine. But for fast music like rock or heavy metal it doesn’t do much justice. But considering the price, it is fine. I cannot blame much. The bass is also deep and goes all the way to 20 Hz. This deep bass is phenomenal.

Mids

The mids are good but not the best in the bunch. The mids sound as if it is recessed in the mix. It is not the mid-centric earbuds. Hence, I cannot recommend it for a genre like jazz. Simply put, the mids are not special in these earbuds

Treble

The Highs are good. I could hear the upper registers clearly. But the sparkle in the music is kinda missing. Considering the price tag and boat signature sound, I have no compliants.

battery life

The battery life of this true wireless earphones is very good. With the case and earbuds, the set can return as much as 40 hours of usage. Each earbud can hold as much as 10 hours of playback time. The fast charging is also impressive. 10 minutes of charge can give you 180 minutes of playback. boAt airdopes 190 is one of the best earbuds under 1500 with the quickest fast charging in this list.

Build quality

This true wireless earbuds have good build quality. They are premium for what you pay for and it is one of the best earbuds under Rs 1500 as for as build quality goes at the least. 

It comes in two colours. Green and black. Both look dope and have a distinct style to them. It comes with extra ear tips. You can find the right one that seals onto your ear canal better. It is very important to have a good seal, especially for low-noise floors and rich bass.

The earpiece looks elegant and has a good quality to it. It is also lightweight and will be comfortable in the long run.

The case looks absolutely gorgeous and has a good texture for grip. The lid shuts with assurance. The lid has an okay quality and there is a slight wobble when opening. The lid doesn’t shut with an assurance like boAt 161 TWS. Overall, the build quality is good and I vote Boult Audio AirBass Z20 TWS as the best TWS under Rs 1500 for its build and looks.

Sound quality

The audio quality is very good for the price. It is one of the best TWS under Rs 1500 as far as sounding goes. The sound is rich and has good fullness to it. At this price, you cannot go wrong with it.

Bass

The bass is good. Although the sound quality of the bass is not Better than a wired counterpart for the same money, it is still good. Good for bass heads? Probably no. The bass is clear but the textures are a bit missing. However, it has good textures for an earphone of Rs 1500.

Get the seal right and you will get great bass.

Mids

Mids are good. It can go loud. It is also clear. The midbass is nice and has a good punch. The vocal clarity is excellent and has a delicacy to it. The instruments sound nice too

Treble

The treble is nice and a bit sparky. It has high-quality air to it but in a limited amount. The female vocals sound smooth through it. It brings life to vocals and high pitch instruments. Wish the treble is a bit more. However, it is not harsh and you can listen to it for a longer period of time.

The case of this true wireless earbuds looks beautiful. I got the matte white colour, and it looks incredible. I love the shape of the earbud case. It is a cuboid shape with rounded corners. The build is good, and the lid is also sturdy. Under the case, there is a USB Type C port. The build is good, and I have no complaints.

Sound quality

The sound quality of this wireless earbuds is decent. The sound is tilted toward the treble. You will get lots of trebles. But the bass is also good. The sound is a bit less refined, in my opinion. The earbuds sound a bit sharp with hard edges. No issues with the soundstage and imaging as they are decent. As for the price, I cannot complain. You need to wear the earbuds correctly into the ear canal for better fidelity.

Bass

The bass is a little less for my taste. It is smooth, though. The punchy mid-bass is also less pronounced. The sub-bass is average. Even with the 10 mm driver, the bass is not super-rich. The treble is a bit edgy and sharp. The treble is also bright, meaning there is a lot of trebles. Songs high in treble may be ear-fatiguing. Overall, this Boult audio X10 has hot highs. 

battery life

The battery life of boult audio airbass x10 is normal. It can deliver up to 45 hours of music with a single charge. It is good. Also, it has a fast charging feature. With a mere 10-minute charge, 150 minutes of playback time is yours.

Build quality

It doesn’t look good in my opinion. Although the design language has more curves than edges, it still looks moderate to me. The build is not so great. The lid wobbles and doesn’t inspire confidence. It even makes rattling noise. I wouldn’t choose this for its build quality.

sound quality

The sound quality is where this Boult has invested its money in. The sound is very decent and great for the price. It is a good bass-heavy earphones under Rs 1500. It leaves me thinking, the company has compromised on build quality for the audio quality side of things. The bass is great. The dynamics are good too.

Bass

Boult Z25 uses a 13 mm driver and sure enough, it has good bass. it is punchy, strong and deep bass. These earphones is the best for EDM and Hiphop genres of music. It will also do well for other genres of music as well. The only issue I found is that the bass is a bit loose and not very tight. But, it can be overlooked conveniently. It is again one of the best earbuds under 1500 in this list.

Mids

The midrange is decent. The mids are crisp and clean. The only issue is that the bass intrudes into the mids making upper mids bass heavy. It is still enjoyable. You can still listen to audio books and podcasts with this earbuds.

Treble

The treble is detailed and not harsh, all thanks to the huge driver. It make you to listen to music for a longer period of time. Even with rolled off treble, it still has some excitement to give you. I am not disappointed.

battery life

The battery life is decent for this earphone. It can only give you around 30 hours of playback time with a full charge. It is not bad. It is not good either. The boult audio Z25 has fast charging too. A 10 minute fast charging will give you around 150 hours of playback time, which is good.
